God With Us – Pics Anyone?  is a Sound Bite skit that your kids can record at home for use in a virtual, online worship service.  

Ever been photo bombed?  Kids will start this Sound Bite by demonstrating what a “photo bomb” is and then talk about how God gently photo bombs us by showing up in our lives.  Emmanuel, God is with us . . .and we wouldn’t want it any other way.
(NOTE:  While we were sheltering due to Covid 19, individual families recorded these Sound Bites in their homes using their phones.  These Sound Bites can also be done LIVE during a worship service.)

Here’s a God With Us – Pics Anyone? script excerpt:
(create a sign that you can hold up that says “GOD”; child is sitting and smiling)
Narrator:  Another photo bomb would be when (name of child) is smiling and being an angel and you decide to snap a picture of the moment and (name of sibling) photo bombs by adding rabbit ears to the picture.

We are usually surprised by a photo bomb.  In the same way, God gently photo bombs us by showing up.  Even when we aren’t thinking about God, God is with us. 
(sad child is looking out a window)
When (name of child) is sad, God is with (name of child).
(sibling slowly raises “GOD” sign over the shoulder of child who is sad)
God photo bombs are a gift!  Emmanuel, God is with us . . . and we wouldn’t want it any other way!
