Always Something New is a preschool (Pre-K) music program that includes finger plays, a narrated skit and 6 preschool songs.
No matter how much preschoolers and the rest of us learn, we know that there is Always Something New to discover about God, God’s creation, ourselves and our neighbors. You’re your kids as they celebrate all the new things they discover in God’s creation through the use of their senses – what they see, hear, touch, smell and taste. And along the way, they will probably learn a few new things about God’s love for them and their neighbors.

This program may be used at any time . . . . beginning of the year in anticipation of all the things your preschoolers will be learning, end of the year to celebrate everything they have learned, or in the spring when new life is popping up all around them!

Always Something New includes:
1) 14 finger plays (these rhymes may be done by individual children or groups of children) & a narrated skit (16 of your preschoolers get to act, but they don’t have to say any lines), prop list and staging,
2) 6 preschool songs that are packed with lots of motions, sign language, claps & pats,
3) piano score with guitar chords,
4) vocal MP3s so you can create your own playlist or CD OR a listening CD (you get to choose digital or hard copy).
Program performance time: 20 minutes.

Purchase of this preschool program grants you permission to make as many copies of the sheet music, lyric sheet, script and MP3s/CDs as you need for your performance.

Purchase this musical in digital format and everything will be e-mailed. You print PDFs of the sheet music & script and create your own MP3 playlist.

Purchase a paper copy of this musical with a CD and Cathy will send the musical and listening CD via priority mail.
Cathy will e-mail your script (MSWord format) so you can add your actor’s names and edit the script as needed. All you have to do is ask!

Accompaniment tracks (MP3s or CDs) come in handy when your piano player isn’t available or when you need to free up your hands to teach motions or sign language to your preschool children. These accompaniment tracks may also be used for your performance – it’s like hiring a piano player who plays the music the same way every time! A keyboard-only accompaniment CD (no vocals) is available. If you prefer digital format for your accompaniment tracks, MP3s can be e-mailed.

If you would like to use the 10-12 minute script as your play and insert your own preschool songs, you may purchase the performance rights for the script. This script includes 14 finger plays (these rhymes may be done by individual children or groups of children) & a narrated play (16 of your preschoolers get to act, but they don’t have to say any lines), prop list and staging. The script can be sent via e-mail to save shipping charges.

If you already have a script and you prefer to purchase individual Pre-K songs from Cathy’s preschool musicals, you have the following options:
1. Purchase sheet music. Sheet music includes piano score, guitar chords and motions. Sheet music can be e-mailed (PDF format) OR printed and mailed.
2. Purchase an MP3 to go along with your sheet music. MP3s include two tracks for each song: a vocal track and a keyboard-only accompaniment track with no vocals. MP3’s are e-mailed.

Marvelous musical
Thank you, once again, for producing such a marvelous musical for kindergarteners. We did Always Something New for our spring musical (first time ever). We received SO many compliments and the parents were SO happy because I was able to include all 30 kids with their own simple “costume” and part. It was truly wonderful and I can’t thank you enough!
